Export value of fish products increased significantly

In the first three months of 2026, the export value of selected fish products was 1,618 million kroner. Compared to the same period in 2025, this is an increase of 550 million kroner, corresponding to 51.4 percent.

Speed ​​of the export value of halibut

If you delve into the figures, it shows that the export value of halibut has increased by 77.3 percent in January-March this year compared to the same period last year. Export quantities for halibut have increased by 49.8 and the price has increased by 19.9 percent.

As for shrimp, the export value in January-March this year has increased by 24.4 percent compared to the same period last year. This corresponds to an increase of 102 million kroner.

For crab and cod, the export value has increased by 55.4 and 39.7 percent respectively, while the price per kilo has increased by 10.8 for crab and 26.3 percent for cod, respectively.
