Erfalasorput is currently hoisted on flagpoles, gables and construction cranes around Nuuk.
This is happening on the initiative of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, which is flying flags in solidarity with those who are emotionally affected by the situation - and as a call for unity among citizens.
The flag-raising will take place on the same day that Naalakkersuisoq's Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Motzfeldt (S) and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen meet with US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington D.C.
