Former head of Imarsiornermik Ilinniarfik becomes new head of INUILI

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Church Affairs announces that Nivikka Brandt has been appointed as the new Director of INUILI from 1 April 2026.

The incoming director of INUILI draws on his experience in HR development and educational leadership to strengthen local resources and self-sufficiency.

Nivikka Brandt was responsible for the development of the Leadership Framework and the Employee Framework in her position in HR Development in the President's Department. She is leaving that position to take up the position as Director of INUILI.

Her previous role as Director of Imarsiornermik Ilinniarfik has given her solid experience for her upcoming position as Director of INUILI. The Ministry of Education writes in a press release.

- Nivikka Brandt also has experience in Nordic cooperation, and is an avid pioneer in relation to self-sufficiency, hunting and fishing and not least the use of Greenlandic raw materials, which is essential for the design of the new food, agriculture and self-sufficiency education.

The ministry states in the press release that they look forward to the collaboration with the new director.
