Christel Lund Bøjler has been appointed as the new head of the Greenland Regional Office at the Danish Working Environment Authority. She will focus on promoting healthy and safe workplaces in Greenland.

This is stated by the Danish Working Environment Authority in a press release.

Christel Lund Bøjler has almost two decades of experience in Greenland and is no stranger to the political and administrative landscape. She has advised and collaborated with politicians and officials in key positions, most recently as director of the Greenland Business School.

- I can see from the job description that I will be working with many tools in my job toolbox – from management and administration to the more engineering-related. I am looking forward to that – just as I am also very much looking forward to working with new colleagues both here in Greenland and in Denmark, says Christel Lund Bøjler.

According to Supervisory Director Karsten Refsgård, they chose Christel Lund Bøjler because of her extensive knowledge of Greenland and her engineering background.

- The fact that she has also shown that she is a visionary and proactive leader with a focus on employee involvement and cultural understanding makes us believe that Christel Lund Bøjler is well equipped to contribute to both the Danish Working Environment Authority and Greenlandic society, he says.
